Our PTFE/TFM is exactly that. Virgin-as pure as possible. All of our molding of "Clean" products are completed in a cleanroom. IFP uses strict cleanroom procedures in our molding and sintering operations. All jobs are completed using state of the art tooling, presses and ovens.

All molds are manufactured from polished stainless steel. Resins are loaded into the die with minimal handling in a strict soft-sided cleanroom environment. Pressure and dwell time at pressure, being so critical to the final product are carefully monitored and recorded. The preform is then removed from the die and placed in a stainless steel lined oven. The oven is located in the clean room and is computer controlled to assure consistent even sintering. Our sintering process, while longer than most other molders, insures complete sintering and the most stress free parts possible.

All jobs are traceable, including material used, material batch number, specific die used, pressure used, dwell time and pressure, oven used and the exact oven sintering cycle. All equipment is regularly calibrated also insuring consistency from batch to batch.
