IFP can offer a wide range of coatings depending on your needs. Reasons for coating include release, low friction, chemical inertness and use temperature ranges from cryogenic to 600° F, depending on the coating.
Several coatings offer good abrasion resistance making them suitable for heavy industrial applications. Coating thickness can vary from .5 mil to +40mil.
IFP offers coatings from a number for manufacturers. IFP is a DuPont Licensed Industrial Applicator of Teflon® Industrial Finishes. Whether a Teflon® or Tefzel® coating from DuPont, Xylan® from Whitford Corp., or Halar® from Ausimont we can recommend and apply the right coating for your application. We also coat NIC ceramic coatings used extensively in high performance auto racing applications.
All coatings must be applied over clean, carefully prepared substrates. Then they must be baked to exact substrate temperatures. We use some of the best technology to control our ovens and part temperatures.
From the inside of a hypodermic needle to large parts, from one part to 1,000's, we can offer competitive quality work. We don't try to be the least expensive but we do try to be the BEST!
Our computer controlled ovens range from lab size to a 14' X 14' X 45' large oven. We have a separate on-site facility for preparing your parts including grit blasting. Our largest part to date was 33' long, 8' diameter, 54,000 pounds requiring surface NDT testing, thermal degreasing, grit blasting and three coats of Teflon® coatings. Trust us, we can do your part.
